Our people

Building the UK’s most intelligent network and setting new standards in our industry is the goal, but it’s our people who are making it happen.

Talent lives everywhere and in many different guises, and we’re on a mission to find it.

To represent the communities we serve we’re building a team of individuals who are as wise as they are diverse and as innovative as they are inclusive. Each of them committed to providing communities with the connections they deserve and doing what they do that little bit better every day.

We value differences

We seek talented people from all walks of life and work hard to ensure no one ever feels alone. We offer opportunities for all, including service-leavers, returning workers and those who are unemployed or looking for new challenges.

Our goal is to give everyone the time and space to be themselves, to speak up and to feel heard when they do. It’s about making sure we all feel counted, accountable, and ready to step up, whatever the challenge.

We look local and train for the long term

As we foster the next generation of network planners, civils and fibre engineers we are creating opportunities for those who live in or near the areas where we build and operate.

To give every new recruit the best start in these areas - and in our central functions too - we partner with leading training providers and invest in dedicated training facilities, academies, apprenticeships and placement programmes.

We put people first

At CityFibre, wellbeing, mental health and safety always come first. We encourage everyone to look after themselves and their families, because only then can they bring their best to work each day.

We encourage flexible working and work hard to ensure everyone has the chance to pursue their passions, share their ideas and make a difference.

We champion Gender equality
