Peterborough CORE says "Hello" to new service provider

16 June 2015

Hello Voice, an award-winning business service provider, has signed up as the latest partner to offer gigabit speed internet connectivity to businesses over the Peterborough CORE. Based in Asset House, Thorpe Wood, Peterborough, Hello Voice joins existing Peterborough CORE partners as demand for ultra-fast, gigabit business services grows throughout the city. Construction is due to start this month to connect Orton Southgate, giving hundreds more businesses access to ultra-fast internet connectivity of up to a gigabit per second (1000Mbps). Hello Voice, an award-winning provider of business VoIP communications, is offering tailored communications services over the CORE network, ranging from traditional voice systems and lines to cloud-based VoIP services and data circuits. Steve Jansky, chief executive of Hello Voice, said: "Peterborough is leading the way for the UK with a state-of-the-art fibre infrastructure to underpin business operations. “Hello Voice strives to be at the forefront of voice technology and we endeavour to ensure that clients are always properly equipped and confident in embracing new technology. I can't wait to start talking to companies about the opportunities this brings." More than 1,000 companies registered an interest in the Peterborough CORE and more than 120 businesses have signed orders for services. Firms already connected to the new state-of-the-art network have discovered that gigabit speeds have a positive effect on their growth potential, client communications, and customer service, as well as efficiency, flexibility and costs. Andy Starnes, city development manager at CityFibre, said: “We're delighted to have Hello Voice as a service provider for the Peterborough CORE. This addition demonstrates the demand for ultra-fast internet connectivity amongst the local business community. “Hello's award-winning VoIP service paired with ultra-fast internet connectivity is a fantastic package which companies can really benefit from.” Hello Voice is the 2015 winner of the ITSPA Best Business ITSP (SME) award for its Contrex VoIP service - after three successive years of being a finalist in the same annual competition. Contrex is a complete managed replacement of traditional business phone systems with identical call quality and performance, with added flexibility and functionality to enhance business efficiency and simplify phone system management.
