Darren Farnden, Head of Marketing[/caption] Channel Live 2018 proved to be a great event for Entanet and CityFibre as we took our powerful ‘Fibre Up!’ message to the channel during a busy two days the NEC in Birmingham. Now in its second year, the leading channel focused ICT trade exhibition once again proved to be a great platform to speak to potential new partners and existing customers about our exciting strategy to build full fibre to 5M premises by 2025 - and critically how they can take advantage of the significant opportunities this is opening up across the UK. The exhibition was the perfect opportunity to showcase not only the competitive products and services that we offer but especially promote our CityFibre Gigabit Cities and help partners understand how they play a critical role in securing the UK’s digital success. Through the purchase decisions they make and in championing CityFibre gigabit connectivity, they have a direct impact on transforming the landscape of the connectivity market and helping their customers to realise the benefits of a future-proofed full fibre infrastructure. Key highlights over the two days included our active participation in the seminar theatre sessions. Greg Mesch, CityFibre’s CEO, took to the stage in a passionate debate with Openreach on the continuing development of full fibre build out and the need for a level playing field to secure the UK’s critical full fibre future; while Entanet’s CEO Elsa Chen was at the heart of a vibrant discussion with channel peers on the subject of ‘selling the new wave of connectivity’. Both drew a big audience and led to hugely interesting conversations on our stand.
