What is One Touch Switch?

One Touch Switch (OTS) is a new process designed to simplify switching broadband providers.

One Touch Switch means you should now only need to contact your new broadband provider when you switch broadband. As of 23rd October 2024, under Ofcom's new rules you won't have to coordinate the switch with your old provider.

You’ll have roughly the same experience as before, without the extra step of contacting your old provider.

Step 1 - You choose a new broadband plan and register with the new provider.

Step 2 - Your new provider shares your information with your previous provider to identify your location and determine which connection to activate.

Step 3 - Your old provider will send you the necessary end-of-contract information.

Step 4 - Your new broadband provider will handle the switch of your connection for your chosen activation date. Your provider may ask you to book some time with an engineer to install your new connection.

Customers who want to switch broadband providers just need to contact the new provider they want to join.
