It is 2 years ago since I joined CityFibre. At the time it was a major step to take, but definitely the best move of my life! As colleagues will attest, this is a really different place to work! The environment is fast paced, so no chance to get bored. It’s challenging to be at the cutting edge of the industry in a rapidly growing company, and it’s exciting to be building the next generation network and our Gigabit Cities.

What really excites me is that as a market disruptor, we are shaking up the broadband market and offering great products through our ISP and reseller partners. We all realise how fundamental full fibre connectivity is to the way in which we now live our lives. Unlike other infrastructure providers, CityFibre builds whole cities – connecting or making allocations for all uses so that the network is future-proofed.

Those who know me will recognise my passionate belief that everyone should have world-class connectivity, and CityFibre enables me to be a part of making this happen. On top of that, I get to work with some amazing colleagues across the organisation, who all share the same passion and back each other. This is a very different organisation to be part of, no two days are the same – and even the most planned out day is sure to bring a few surprises!
