Job Description

This hybrid role offers a great balance of home and office working. You’ll join your colleagues in your local office at least 2 days a week.

Joining us as a Wayleave Coordinator

As the Wayleave coordinator you will  provide support to the Rural Wayleaves Department and Design Managers coordinating wayleave assignments and reporting tasks, you will manage the inflow of updates and report back to the internal and external stakeholders on progress. 

You’ll receive a salary of up to £38,000,  a performance related bonus, and a range of benefits to support you across your financial, physical and mental wellbeing.

This is some of what you can expect to be doing:

  • Act as the primary liaison between various stakeholders, including Head of Assurance and Partnerships, Design and Lot Leads, PMO, Delivery and Build Managers, Regional Planning, Programme Managers, PMO teams, BDUK, and Wayleave Partners
  • Coordinate and manage wayleave acquisition activities, ensuring accurate instructions are issued to partners, and tracking progress from assessment to acquisition
  • Provide administrative support to the planning team, including reviewing and processing invoices, and ensuring financial compliance for end-of-stage reporting

What you’ll bring to the role

As an organised administrator, you’ll also have:

  • Experience in a similar coordination role
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
