Cubis signs Strategic Supplier Agreement with CityFibre as Gigabit City programme expands

Cubis Systems, a leading manufacturer of access chambers used in the construction of full fibre networks, has signed a strategic supplier agreement with CityFibre, a leading UK provider of wholesale full fibre infrastructure. Under the agreement, Cubis will supply CityFibre with access chambers, covers and cable management systems until December 2020. The deal coincides with CityFibre’s recent announcement of 14 further towns and cities being planned and mobilised for full fibre deployment. They are set to join its ‘Gigabit City Club’, alongside the 12 cities already announced, and form the next phase in CityFibre’s £2.5bn investment plan to bring competitive full fibre infrastructure to at least five million homes, more than 20% of the UK market. Cubis Systems is a leading manufacturer of access chambers, used in the construction of infrastructure networks. The company, based in Lurgan, Northern Ireland, employs over 600 people globally and exports to over 25 countries.
