CityFibre Engineer Referral Programme Terms and Conditions (engineer)
The CityFibre Engineer Referral promotion (the “Promotion”) is being managed by CityFibre Limited whose registered office is at 15 Bedford Street, London, WC2E 9HE (“CityFibre”).
These Terms and Conditions shall govern the “Engineer Referral” promotion which for the purpose of these Terms and Conditions is also referenced as Engineer Referral:
- This Promotion is open to engineers who are employed or engaged as a self-employed contractor by Kelly Group who conduct full fibre installations for CityFibre (“Engineers”) in the Leicester and Aberdeen areas only (the “Target Areas”). To qualify, Engineers must be aged 18 and over and must register with their name and personal email address at cityfibre.com/refer-a-friend-engineer-referee (“Engineer Registration”) by the Registration Deadline 23 May 2025 (“Engineer Registration Deadline”).
- After Engineer Registration, an Engineer will become eligible to become a referrer (“Referrer”) and will be given a unique engineer code on the referral platform and via a confirmation email. The Engineer can share this code with residents in adjacent properties of completed installations who are not already connected to CityFibre’s full fibre network (“Residents”). As detailed below, a Referrer will be eligible for a Referral Reward (defined below) if a Resident achieves a Qualifying Connection (defined below) using the Referrer’s unique engineer code (a “Referral”).
- Residents must be new prospective customers aged 18+ who are not currently on the CityFibre network. The Promotion will not apply to existing Residents who are already connected to the CityFibre network. The Promotion will only apply to Residents at residential addresses. Business premises are excluded from this Promotion.
- For a Referrer to qualify for the Referral Reward (defined below), after a Resident is provided with a unique engineer code, the Resident must: (i) register for the Promotion via email at cityfibre.com/grab100 which is stated in the communications provided to Resident using the unique engineer code (“Resident Registration”) by 11 September 2025 (“Resident Registration Deadline”); (ii) subsequently achieve a Connection (defined below) on the CityFibre network on or before 60 days following Resident Registration. Once the Resident has achieved a Qualifying Connection (defined below), the Resident will be eligible for a reward of a £100 digital voucher (“Customer Reward”) and the Referrer will be eligible for a reward of £20 which may, at the discretion of CityFibre, be offered as a digital voucher for PayPal or Amazon ("Referral Reward”). The Referral Reward will become due to the Referrer once a Resident has achieved a Qualifying Connection (defined below). If a Resident does not register by the Resident Registration Deadline, neither the Resident nor the Referrer will be eligible for any reward, even if the Resident is subsequently connected to the CityFibre network.
- Resident Registration must be undertaken independently by the Resident. The Resident must freely decide to enter into the Promotion having reviewed the terms and conditions applicable to the Resident. Referrers must only post communications relevant to the Promotion through the letterboxes of Residents and Referrers should not knock on the doors of, or otherwise directly approach, Residents in connection with the Promotion.
- After successful Resident Registration, a Resident will become a “Participant” and will be given a unique web link on the Engineer Referral platform and via a confirmation email which the Resident can use to access CityFibre’s online availability checker.
- Upon clicking the unique web link, the Participant will need to input their postcode and address into the availability checker to see which of CityFibre’s broadband provider partners (if any) can offer a service on the CityFibre network at Participant’s address. Please note that not all addresses will be served by CityFibre’s network and so this Promotion is subject to the geographical availability of CityFibre’s network.
- Where broadband provider partners are available to offer a service on the CityFibre network at Participant’s address, Participant must then purchase a connection with one of the broadband provider partners via the unique web link (a “Purchase”).
- Once Participant has made a Purchase, arrangements will be made by CityFibre to install Participant’s new broadband connection. Once successfully installed and live on the CityFibre network, Participant will be deemed to have achieved a “Connection”. Participant must achieve a Connection on or before 60 days following Resident Registration.
- The Participant will be deemed to have a “Qualifying Connection” once Participant has been connected to the CityFibre network for 30 days following Connection. The Referral Reward will become due to the Referrer once Participant has achieved a Qualifying Connection.
- Please note that, whilst CityFibre will endeavour to facilitate Connection in a timely fashion, there may be technical and/or geographical restrictions which delay Connection and subsequently, the date Participant achieves a Qualifying Connection.
- For your Referral to be valid, you cannot become a Participant yourself nor can you make a Referral to friends and/or family. Where an address receives multiple communications from different Referrers about the Promotion, only the Referrer with the unique engineer code used by the Participant to make the Purchase will be eligible for the Referral Reward in respect of that Purchase.
- The Referrer will be entitled to receive the Referral Reward provided they are employed by or otherwise engaged as a self-employed contractor by Kelly Communications at the time the Referral Reward is due. If the Referrer is no longer employed (or engaged as a self-employed contractor) by Kelly Communications or has ceased to work in the Target Areas on the date the relevant Participant obtains a Qualifying Connection, the Referrer forfeits their entitlement to the Referral Reward.
- CityFibre shall use reasonable endeavours to procure that any Referral Reward will be issued within 60 days of the Qualifying Connection via an email containing a link notification to claim the Referral Reward.
- Referral Rewards are variable. CityFibre reserves the right to suspend, cancel or amend the Promotion and/or review and revise these Terms and Conditions at any time without giving prior notice. By continuing to take part in the Promotion subsequent to any revision of these Terms and Conditions, Referrers shall be deemed to have agreed to any such new or amended terms.
- Participation in this Promotion does not create any form of employment, partnership, agency, or similar relationship between the Referrer and CityFibre. The Referrer acknowledges that they are not entitled to any payments or compensation from CityFibre beyond the prizes explicitly detailed herein (and only if eligible under the terms herein).
- Data supplied by Referrers and Residents during the course of this Promotion will only be processed as set out by CityFibre’s Privacy Policy available at cityfibre.com/about-us/privacy-statement. In particular, your data may be processed by third parties who may assist in the delivery of this Promotion.
- CityFibre may withhold Referral Rewards where there are reasonable grounds to suspect fraudulent activity, abuse, and/or an error. All decisions made by CityFibre are final and binding.
- These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by English Law and entrants to the Promotion submit to the jurisdiction of English Courts.
- This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, Amazon or PayPal.
