Joining us as Head of Assurance & Delivery Partnerships

As an experienced head of, you will assure the full delivery of the rural footprint to ensure both internal and external targets can be delivered in the timeliest and cost-efficient way. You will lead and manage wayleave acquisition across the rural footprint to ensure seamless build progress. You will have experience in development & implementation of Land Access Strategy, fostering strategic partnerships while driving compliance with industry standards.

This is some of what you can expect to be doing:

  • Lead and manage wayleave acquisition across the rural footprint to ensure seamless build progress, operational efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Develop and manage the Land Access Strategy, focusing on efficient and compliant processes.
  • Engage in industry working groups to represent and advance City Fibre’s strategic interests. Collaborate with DNOs and other partners to optimize Access to Infrastructure (ATI) opportunities.
  • Lead the improvement of operational assurance processes and tools to ensure broken orders within the BDUK footprint are tracked are minimised. This must focus on both proactive and reactive action plans.

What you’ll bring to the role

As an experienced Head of Assurance, You’ll also have:

  • Significant experience managing external Wayleaves partners, developing, scope, operating principles and the contract framework and managing in-life.
  • Experience in developing and implement policy and SOPs, manage resources, including internal teams and outsourced partners, along with the ability to create and refine templates for wayleave agreements, ensuring they meet current legislation.
  • Detailed understanding of statutory and legal frameworks under which City Fibre can build its instal and maintain its infrastructure such as the Electronic Communications Code 'The Code' and the Digital Economy Act.
  • Proven leader able to develop and motivate a team on internal and external wayleave professionals
