This hybrid role offers a great balance of home and office working. You’ll travel frequently to partners within your geographical location and attend our London office when needed.

Joining us as a Senior Account Manager

As an experienced Public Sector Account Manager, you will own and manage all Public Sector Accounts and Strategic relationships within allocated geographical remit to maximise the return on investment and drive Customer Growth. You will establish a legacy in the public sector by contracting and building full fibre solutions that create significant social and economic value in CityFibre towns and cities.

This is some of what you can expect to be doing:

  • Maximise incremental opportunity and densification of existing contracted scope, developing and owning Account Development Plan (ADP) and co-ordinate internal and customer teams to execute against this plan
  • Build C-Level stakeholder relationships at the political, strategic and operational level within allocated accounts. Developing and presenting recommendations to support increased success – influencing development and technology roadmaps and customer partnerships
  • Achieve 100%-win rate on all public sector contract renewals for allocated accounts

What you’ll bring to the role

This role demands agility, collaboration, and the ability to lead discussions, ensuring data is effectively shared and utilised across the business. You’ll also have:

  • Demonstrable and proven experience of developing repeat business in the local government market. With a record of high performance / target achievement including evidence of leading transactions at >£1m contract value
  • Well-connected in the public sector with a good understanding of public sector market, you will be proactive in your approach to identifying relationships and collaborating with internal teams to recognise and promote cross functional relationships and opportunities
  • Track record of reoccurring revenue performance across sales, consistent relationship development, market analysis, business planning, bid leadership, financial sensitivity, commercial acumen and negotiation skills
