NOC 24/7 Shift Team Leader
CityFibre provides wholesale connectivity to multiple business and consumer service providers, local authorities and mobile operators.
This is a 24/7 opportunity with a rotating shift pattern (7-7, 4 On 4 Off) and it will include a shift allowance.

How you’ll change it up
As one of our NOC Operation Shift Team Leaders, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring that your team are constantly maximising the network performance for our customers through efficient monitoring, troubleshooting, scheduling of upgrades and network optimisation. Day to day, this is some of what you can expect to be doing:
- Responsible for day-to-day incident and service request management, using best practice and industry standard methodology
- Acting as an escalation point as needed
- Creating an inspiring team environment with open communication and clear team goals
- Monitoring team performance and reporting on metrics
- Maintaining the networking environment by carrying out system configuration and installation, whilst defining, documenting and enforcing system standards
What you’ll bring to the role
You’ll already have some experience as a Team Leader or Supervisor with broad knowledge of the technology and telecoms sector, as well as exposure to working a 24/7 shift pattern. You’ll also bring the following with you:
- In-depth knowledge of performance metrics
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Experience working in an ISP or network engineering
- Ability to remain calm under pressure, with strong decision-making skills
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Experience delivering high-quality customer experiences
