How can you change it up?

We’re looking for a Regional Technical & Operations Trainer to join the team and support the development and implementation of our regional training plans. In this role you will be designing and delivering training, providing individuals and teams with the operational and technical skills to not only succeed and thrive in their jobs, but to also work safely and maximise productivity. Day to day, this is what you can expect to be doing:

  • Identifying technical and operational training needs across build and operations
  • Contributing to and participating in national technical and operational training programmes such as new talent programmes
  • Managing the relationship with external training providers within your region, driving quality of service and delivery and keeping external providers updated of technical standards and specifications

What you'll bring to the role

You’ll have a passion for making a difference through teaching – working with our internal teams and build partners to equip them with the crucial skills and knowledge they need to do their jobs successfully and safely. Your wealth of fibre knowledge and experience working in construction or telecoms will help you to excel at this.

You’ll also have some of the following:

  • Be an effective communicator with great collaboration skills
  • Have knowledge of BT Openreach (Fibre) training and accreditation
  • Have assessor qualifications such as D32/D33, A1, L3

Any experience in planning would be a bonus!
