How can you change it up?
As our Network Planner, you’ll produce robust and cost-effective civils and fibre-optic infrastructure designs following defined methodologies, architecture and project timelines. Some of your main responsibilities will include:
- Working with pre-sales teams to scope and cost projects to support tender responses.
- Designing suitable civils and fibre optic infrastructure which are cost-effective, fit-for-purpose and future-proof
- Undertaking Site Surveys per Cityfibre’s safety guidelines
- Forecasting CAPEX and OPEX requirements of designed infrastructure projects
- Producing detailed industry-standard documentation of that design
- Helping to develop, implement and champion CityFibre network design topologies
What will you bring to the role?
We are looking for a strong communicator who has a full understanding of Local and National Authority regulations concerning civil engineering works. You'll need high attention to detail to produce a detailed industry-standard level of survey, installation and as-built documentation. Alongside this, you must be comfortable working remotely and independently from your other team members but collaborate when necessary.
For this role, you'll need to demonstrate a solid understanding in:
- All aspects of civil route planning
- All aspects of fibre planning
- Industry recognised GIS software
