Operational Excellence Coordinator Summer Placement

CityFibre provides wholesale connectivity to multiple business and consumer service providers, local authorities and mobile operators.

Duration: 6 weeks  

You'll need to be in the penultimate year of your Undergraduate Degree, or heading into your master's year in Business Management, Psychology, Marketing, Communications, Business Change or Project Management. Our summer placements start in July and are for 6 weeks over the University summer holidays.

You'll receive a salary of £20,000 which will be pro-rata across a six-week period. 

What will you be doing? 

The core purpose of this role is to support the business change manager and the wider team with the delivery of business change activities. You will work with programme and project teams to drive the preparation and execution of improvement efforts throughout CityFibre. Some of your key responsibilities will include:  

What will you bring to the role? 

You’ll have either just completed your second year as an undergraduate or your third year moving on to a master's degree in Business Management, Psychology, Marketing, Communications, Business Change or Project Management. You must have a solid understanding of change management and continuous improvement. Excellent communication skills are essential with the ability to articulate messages.
