How can you change it up?
Joining our compliance team, you’ll be providing efficient administrative support for our growing street works division. As our streets work advisor, you will be monitoring the processing of street works notifications, permits and relevant inspections to ensure that we are following the related legislations and guidelines. In addition to this, you will be supporting our operations teams to build and maintain positive working relationships with local authorities.
Some of the things you’ll be doing will include:
- Ensuring that principle contractors are fully onboarded
- Attending local/regional HAUC meetings to ensure CityFibre’s interests are represented
- Engaging with Street Works UK to remain up to date with street works legislation and share best practices across the street works industry
- Ensuring that there is neutral cost exposure for CityFibre with regards to street works charges / FPN’s
What will you bring to the role?
You will have experience in the application of street works legislation codes of practice. You will have a track record for driving improvements in street works compliance and building positive working relationships with local authorities. Past experience in the effective and compliant coordination of street works permits will also be valuable. You will also need:
- Experience working in telecoms or civils environment
- Experience in street works co-ordination
- Sound knowledge of NRSWA
- Sound knowledge and ability in Word, Excel and Outlook
- Good level of written English
