How can you change it up?
The need for reliable connectivity in homes and businesses has never been greater, in residential streets our network keeps families connected and empowers many people to work effectively from home. In communities, we enable thousands of critical healthcare, education and council sites to keep looking after the people they serve.
As the passive engineering lead, you will be facilitating a clear focus on the development of the CityFibre passive architecture so that its application delivers against our business objectives and strategic intent. Some of your key responsibilities in this role will include:
- Effectively communicating news of architecture and change across CityFibre
- Ensuring that at passive network component Level, current installation and maintenance method statements are available to operate teams
- Taking operational learning back into appropriate passive network architecture adjustments
- Using 3rd Party Networks including Process Definition, Design Rules and Implementation (PIA)
- Acting as the focal point provide SME support for Network acquisition activities when required
- Developing Service and Component Supplier Relationships, to create increased value for our business
What will you bring to the role?
We are looking for a strong leader that can motivate and set the direction for their teams to deliver against defined targets. You will need to demonstrate a proven track record in delivering successfully significant network-related projects. In addition to this, it will benefit if you have a good understanding of FTTH/P passive network architecture/components and industry trends. Alongside this, a solid business understanding with a background in business case production and supporting analytics is needed for this role.
